I recently went on a trip with my family to Disney World. Honestly, I love Disney World. It’ such a fun, carefree place. Having said that, there does tend to be lots of time spent “waiting” while you are there. Because of this, I tend to download a few books to my kindle so that I can pass the time reading. We were in the DFW airport waiting on our next flight, and I happened to be in one of the convenience stores stocking up on some drinks and snacks for the plane, but since I didn’t have a kindle book, I was browsing their selection of physical books they had available. Admittedly, the cover of this book caught my eye. It immediately reminded me of Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie, which is one of my favorites. Since I don’t tend to carry around physical books anymore, I decided to purchase the e-book version for my kindle. This is one of those times were I judged a book by its cover, and it paid off. I’m glad I ran across this one. Hope you like it too!
Everyone on this Train is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson is a cozy mystery that nods to Murder on the Orient Express. The delightfully dry sense of humor and sarcasm made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. The map at the beginning of the book made me feel like a real detective, and I enjoyed the narrator’s manner of taking the reader through the exact journey of discovery.
